This was the first motorcycle I ever purchased. Like most teenage boys I had motorcycle fever. I had a stack of motorcycle magazines which were well worn.
The story behind this motorcycle goes like this.
A friend and I were regular visitors to the local motorcycle shops. One day we went in and I saw this motorcycle and asked some questions about it. The basics were that it was a two-cycle engine, had six gears, topped out at about 60 miles per hour and 11k rpm.
I’m not sure why, but the salesperson did something very unusual. He asked me if I wanted to buy it, and I said yes. He asked if I was working, and of course I was. Did I have the $650 it would take to drive that baby off the lot. No, but I did have $150 right there. He then did the most awesome thing ever. He let me make weekly payments. That’s right, a 17 year old kid. No credit check, no contract. Just promise to pay me weekly, and I could drive it right off the lot, which I did, and did.
Lot’s of great times on that little whiny motorcycle bike. I’ll elaborate more later…

Yeah, I remember that bike being “hidden” against the house. So fun and funny!
